Registration to host an event for the 2025 festival is now open! Register your event, or offer a venue or space, here: OHWF Event Registration Form.

We have created an Event Host Information Pack featuring all the information you need to register, and then host, your event. Download it here: OHWF Event Host Information Pack.

Do you have a favourite way of celebrating or connecting with nature that you would love to share with others? Do you take part in conservation work and would love to get more people involved? Or are you simply passionate about the wildlife of the Outer Hebrides and want to share that passion with others?

If the answer to any of the above is yes, why not host an event at the Outer Hebrides Wildlife Festival!

We’re also inviting those with a space, indoor or outdoor, who are willing to offer it for use during the festival to let us know. We’d love to pair you with someone wanting to host an event who doesn’t have the space. You can register your interest in offering a venue on the event host registration form.

Each year, we look for a range of groups and individuals to help us create a wonderfully diverse programme of events. Events at past festivals have included guided walks, talks, boat trips, water sports such as paddle boarding, snorkelling and surfing, nature writing workshops, marine mammal survey training, bumblebee safaris, species ID training, Gaelic workshops, art exhibitions and more! You can take a look at our 2024 programme for inspiration.

The Outer Hebrides Wildlife Festival is a community-led festival and would not be possible without the many amazing groups and individuals who get involved each year to deliver a fantastic array of events and activities. We can't wait to work with both new and familiar faces in 2025!
