OUTER HEBRIDES WILDLIFE FESTIVAL

Get Involved

Host an event

Do you have a favourite way of celebrating or connecting with nature that you would love to share with others? Do you take part in conservation work and would love to get more people involved? Or are you simply passionate about the wildlife of the Outer Hebrides and want to share that passion with others?

If the answer to any of the above is yes, why not host an event at the Outer Hebrides Wildlife Festival!

We are looking for a range of groups and individuals to help us create a wonderfully diverse programme of events for this year's festival. Events at past festivals have included guided walks, talks, boat trips, water sports such as paddle boarding, snorkelling and surfing, nature writing workshops, marine mammal survey training, bumblebee safaris, species ID training, Gaelic workshops, art exhibitions and more! Take a look at our 2023 programme for more inspiration.

The Outer Hebrides Wildlife Festival is a community-led festival and would not be possible without the many amazing groups and individuals who get involved each year to deliver a fantastic array of events and activities. We can't wait to work with both new and familiar faces this year!

If you're interested in getting involved by either hosting an event or offering an event venue (indoor or outdoor), please let us know by clicking the button below and filling out our Expression of Interest form. One of our team will then get in touch with you to discuss your event or venue and to see how we can support you to make this happen. You'll then be able to formally register your Outer Hebrides Wildlife Festival event!

Event registration closes on the 15th of May and we'll be publishing our event programme soon after that, so please register your interest in plenty of time before the 15th so we can help you sort all the details.
