About the Festival
Fàilte/ Welcome
Join the celebration of the wildlife and nature of the Outer Hebrides with an unmissable programme of events, workshops, walks, talks, and more! The Outer Hebrides Wildlife Festival is an opportunity to enjoy, learn about, connect with and take action for the special nature and wildlife of the Outer Hebrides. Whether you're a resident or a visitor, we can't wait to welcome you.
This year's festival will be taking place 22 - 29 June, with a Fringe festival running through July. Head to our Host an Event page to find out more about hosting a festival event. Information on how to get involved as a volunteer will be coming soon.
The Outer Hebrides Wildlife Festival is an annual community-led festival coordinated by the Bumblebee Conservation Trust as part of Species on the Edge, a multi-partner nature conservation programme funded by The National Lottery Heritage Fund.
A massive thanks goes to all our fantastic partners, local businesses, volunteers and local communities who make the festival possible.
